The Swiss company, Hermes Sweeteners, has introduced a new and natural table-top sweetener in Australia.
Hermesetas SteviaSweet is the first table top sweetener made from the stevia plant extract to be launched into the local grocery market.

In 2008, Food Standards Australia New Zealand approved the use of stevia as a food additive thereby allowing Australian consumers to try Stevia sweetened food and drink products for the first time.

Hermesetas SteviaSweet is a sweetener manufactured from the particular part of the stevia plant with an intensive sweet taste. The plant is wild and originates from South America.

As a plant-based alternative to sugar, Hermesetas SteviaSweet is suitable for everyone who wishes, or is obliged, to limit their sugar consumption.

The Swiss company Hermes Sweeteners is the first manufacturer and supplier of sweeteners to include Stevia in its product range and offer it for sale internationally.

Hermesetas SteviaSweet is made by Hermes Sweeteners in cooperation with Greensweet.

The product is now available nationally in all Woolworths and Safeway stores.

Hermes Sweeteners is one of the world’s biggest manufacturers and suppliers of table top sweeteners. For 100 years (the company was founded in 1904) Hermes Sweeteners has been making sweeteners in tablet, powder or liquid form and distributing these in more than 100 countries. In 1932, Hermes arranged for “Hermesetas” to be registered as one of the first sweetener brands followed by the "Assugrin" brand in 1954.

use SweetLeaf Sweetener Stevia. It was the first--the CEO and founder was the first to bring stevia to the U.S.back in 1982. I love it in fruit smoothies!

In fact, Jim May (founder and CEO of SweetLeaf and "Father of Stevia")is holding a webinar on 10/27 and will discuss the difference between SweetLeaf and other brands, as well as the safety and health benefits of stevia. Its free and I already signed up! If you're interested, here's the link to the article where the link to register in embedded!
