The Cafe2U mobile coffee franchise has been awarded best value franchise system by Australian Financial Review Smart Investor magazine.

In the $50,000 to $150,000 price range, it was lauded as one of two of the best value systems in the market out of more than 1000 contenders.

Cafe2U is now the largest mobile coffee franchise in the world. Since developing into a franchise system in 2004 from a one-van operation on Sydney’s northern beaches in 2004, there are now 92 franchises in Australia with a further 51 throughout the UK, including Scotland, northern England, southern England, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.

The franchise group turns over more than $20 million and is planning to repeat the success in more overseas destinations including the US and South Africa.

A significant factor behind the company's ranking by AFR Smart Investor was its unique Acceleration Package, which has fast tracked 15 new franchisees since its introduction earlier in the year.

Cafe2U provides an income guarantee for the first two weeks, with a daily business schedule constructed with the assistance of the franchisee’s allocated franchisee development manager.

It includes a four week training and support package as part of all new franchise purchases. The new business is built alongside a dedicated franchise coach and mentor, and an income guarantee enables a confirmed income from day one.

Since the launch of the Acceleration Package in March 2009, Cafe2U mobile coffee franchise has launched six in Perth, four in NSW, three in Melbourne, one in Adelaide and one in Canberra.
