Pacific Retail Management is taking Go Sushi overseas and is opening the new Get Sushi brand in the expanding Kinepolis Cinema Complex located in Lomme (Lille), France in early 2010. Get Sushi will be the French arm of the Australian-owned and operated Go Sushi brand and will be run by entrepreneurs Henri rémi Decalonne and Arnaud Fourlégnie in partnership with Pacific International Franchising Group in Australia. “A market study has been done worldwide for a period of 18 months in order to find the appropriate business which could suit our European market. Countries like Canada, the US and Asia have all been explored and studied and we never found the appropriate business until we found Go Sushi” said corporate communications manager, Arnaud Fourlégnie. “Go Sushi and Pacific Retail Management offered us a healthy low cost product, competitive price point, an easy concept to run and learn with no experience needed, a low investment with high profit and a concept and product that is not only on the move but also a fashionable way of life," said Fourlégnie. The new store will open early next year in Lille. The Kinepolis Group owns 23 cinemas throughout Europe and is listed on the Bruxelles Stock Exchange. “This is an exciting time for Pacific Retail Management and Go Sushi as this will be our first venture into overseas markets. Remi and Arnaud have both showed a great understanding of the French food market and both parties agree that Get Sushi will be a fantastic inclusion in the Lomme (Lille), area” said national marketing manager, Scott Philipson.
