The William Angliss Institute in Melbourne is offering a Diploma of Franchising course this year.

The Tafe course will provide participants with knowledge and skills
pertaining to the franchise industry and present opportunities to interact and learn from franchisors and franchisees.

The Diploma of Franchising is a nationally recognised qualification from the Business Services Training Package and is designed to foster and develop skills and knowledge in franchise management.

This qualification will enable graduates to consider opportunities in hospitality franchising operations such as Nando’s, Healthy Habits, 7 Eleven, Bakers Delight and Souvlaki Hut and is suited to existing franchisee personnel, franchisors and those considering a career change.

The course is flexible and can be completed at a speed that suits the individual. It is designed around meeting the needs of each student combining classroom, online, workshop and workplace delivery.

Glenn Parker, teacher of the Institute’s Franchising program, says: “As a former employee working for a major food franchise company and later opening up my own business as a franchisee, I can see tremendous positives and opportunity for anyone prepared to study franchising, especially those considering a career in the food service and accommodation sector."
